Local photographer, Meqo Sam Cecil captures the abandoned Land of Make Believe shortly after hurricane Irene passed through and devastated the area. Shot on 4x5 film, this is an 11" x 14" print, matted and framed in a 19" x 22" black metal frame.
Printed on fiber base gelatin silver paper.
Inspired by the oft overlooked, quotidien, local landscapes Sam slows us down with a new perspective. He shoots exclusively on film using cameras made from the early 1900s to 1960s and develops and prints all of his work in his home darkroom.
