Money Clip

Availability: In stock

China was the first country to make paper, so it makes sense that they were also the first to use bills as currency in the Song Dynasty (997-1022 ce). In 1862, the first $1 notes (called United States Notes or "Legal Tenders") were issued by the federal government and featured a portrait of Secretary of the Treasury Salmon P. Chase (1861-1864).

Here we are in 2022 and they say the safest way to double your money is to fold it over once and put it back in your pocket. Someone you know needs a handsome money clip to remind them of their favorite mountain destination; maybe it's you!
